MICROSOFT TEAMS ALTERNATIVE
A simpler Microsoft Teams alternative for meetings and chat
Gubae is a Microsoft Teams alternative that combines video meetings and team chat in one browser app, end-to-end encrypts every meeting without an add-on, and can be paid for in Ethiopian birr. Teams' free plan allows 60-minute meetings, while Gubae's allows 40 minutes and includes cloud recording.
What is different from Microsoft Teams
- End-to-end encryption in every meeting, with no premium add-on
- Cloud recording on the free plan
- Pay in Ethiopian birr with Telebirr, CBE Birr or a local bank card
- A lighter app that runs fully in the browser
- A full Amharic interface
When Microsoft Teams may suit you better
If your organization runs on Microsoft 365, with Outlook, SharePoint and Office files, Teams connects them closely. Gubae suits teams that want meetings and chat without a full office suite, and organizations that prefer to pay locally in birr.
